A project for an electric taxicab, designed in Spain in the early to mid-1940's? I'm still looking for a name for it...

Found! David from c.1943, built on a Citroën chassis and powered by electricity. About ten built, mostly used as taxicabs.

Good progress but not quite there yet!
Indeed it was by David, it was based on a Citroën chassis and it was battery-powered.
But it only started out as a taxi, not ended as one..
So still locked for you to tell me the purpose of this vehicle.

"It is the vehicle worthy of a wedding ceremony" said the David flier... Now I don't know if David meant it literally, but anyway I am not aware of any other possible use for these cars apart from that one. As a chauffeured coupé de ville, it indeed looked dignified enough!

The website I got it from described it as a battery-powered ex-Barcelona Citroen taxi converted by David for use as a wedding limo.
