McHenry was 1942 West Side Speedway champion with this car, built by the splendidly named Durward Aloysius Clem, who normally drove his own cars. It was FWD using a Menasco engine - Menasco built aero engines so I have no idea what this little unit could have started life as, but maybe some sort of subsidiary motor or generator?
