My first thought when I saw this car was "Bellier" but, obviously, I'm apparently wrong, even if there are some similarities. Late 1980's, possibly French?

You're right - it's not a Bellier and neither is it French.  A bit later than late 1980s...

Actually it's not!
But it's clearly (very) closely related so I'll lock it for you to take an other look.

I'm changing my mind. If the car is not elecrtric It's the Microcar Lyra from France that was the base for the ATW Microcar of 1990.

It's neither of those!
It's one of those microcars which was made by various different companies in different countries, so whilst it's basically exactly the same as those this particular car is in fact none of the ones you've mentioned..

Locked for you to have another go.

Yes, that's the one.
Locked for you to tell me who was building (or just marketing?) it.

I'm not sure what are you looking for. Microcar at that time was a branche of the Group Beneteau-Jeaneau and was was sold over most of european countries. This specific brochure looks that was print for the Swiss market.

It was for the Swiss market, yes.
I'm looking for the name of the company which was marketing it as the Spid in Switzerland.  Nothing resembling its name has been given yet..

That's it, yes!
They seem to have been in Zurich,, Bern and Lucerne (?), but I suppose they only marketed it, not made it.
Well done.

I think they converted it into an electric vehicle.
