It's a Cooper-Porsche, but as there were at least two of them, the question is which one. The shape of the engine cover makes me think it is the Ted Corazzo Riviera car (often driven by Scooter Patrick,) and not the better known Pooper.

Yes, you're right, it is the Corrazza Cooper-Porsche.
I have another name as the builder, which is what I'm looking for for the point.
Locked for you to say who it was.

Struggled with this, but learned a lot about Cooper Streamliners in the process! This was one of the original alloy bodied streamliners bought into the US for record breaking purposes. There were 2 or 3 of them, and later a number of other cooper 500s were converted using fiberglass replica bodies. The word 'Pooper' was indiscriminately used to describe them all, but the true Pooper was built from a streamliner and raced by the late Pete Lovely. It looked similar to the Corazza Cooper Porsche but did not have the RS engine of the latter. I cannot imagine he built the pair, but I just cannot find a reference as to who did. Please open it up.

No, I'll just give you the point and call it solved!
The name I was looking for was Clarence Reville, but checking my facts I think he was probably just the driver, not the builder.
It was the way I had written it down in my notes, so sorry to make you waste your time..  At least you get the point!
Well done.

Thanks.
I have no idea why I spelt it like that; on the website I got the picture from it was spelt both as Corrazza and Corazza, but nowhere did it have an 'o' at the end!  Sorry!

Don't worry, I confess I had to read the script on the nose of the car to be sure myself!  ;D
