No, this has me foxed. I know these as the mk1 Nickri spyders designed primarily for 1172 ford parts including the wheels fitted in this example. All I can think of is that it has a chassis after which it has been named. Is it a BUCKLER?

They were built to sit on an 1172 chassis and running gear usually, but this one doesn't; it's not a Buckler.
And as you suspect it's actually badged as the vehicle it's based on..

hmmm ..... those wheels look like ford but perhaps the hubcaps are deceiving. Jowett Jupiter?

No, the wheels are Ford 100E; there is a Ford connection...

Yes!  It's based on a 1947 933 cc Fordson van.

Never finished by him in 1960 but it has been now, I believe.
