To split hares: the Ford 10 may well have been an Anglia.
A pedant inserts his oar:
The E93A/E493A Ford 10 at 1172 cc was the Prefect (1938-53) and the E04A/E494A Ford 8 at 933 cc was the Anglia (1939-53)
The 103E Popular (1953-9) was effectively the last Anglia with the Ford 10 engine.
The 100E Prefect/Anglia/Escort/Squire (1953-9) was a completely different car with a completely different design of 10 h.p. 1172 cc sidevalve engine.
ergo a 10 h.p. Ford engine was made over a 21 year span but of course special builders usually used them second-hand so if the Special were built in 1959 it probably had a much earlier basis. If the date was part of the donor vehicle's donation the special may have been made much later from the remains of a Ford Pop. (the 100E car wasn't a suitable basis for a special, though its engine was)
