So, it's the prototype for: depending on what side of the channel you are the new Ford Taunus TC3 2 door (Continental Europe) or new Ford Cortina Mk4 2 door(UK).

Yes, I thought the picture was taken in the UK so it was the Cortina Mk4, but it might indeed have been taken in Germany (note it's LHD).

Had to be a prototype, as the production cars had a different bonnet that streched to the edge & grill.
