It's related but is actually later than the 144.

While you posted this reply, I found the solution, Volvo Prototype, however found 2 different years 1968 & 1968

It is a Volvo prototype, yes, but I need its code-name so I'll lock it for you to find it.
Both those years look the same to me!

It was built in either 1968 or 1969 as a proposal for a replacement for the 144.
