It's a BMW 328 re-bodied by Beutler in 1958.  :)

Yes it is.
I though this one would cause a bit more trouble than that so to have it solved within 48 hours is pretty good...

Your puzzle car actually is one of around 10 rebodied 328s done by Beutler.
