Are you sure?...I saw this car some times ago, this is its engine-chassis label:  anyway I'll dig a bit more.

No, I'm not at all sure..
Half of what you find on the Internet is complete rubbish, so my information might be in that category!
It does come from an Italian website though and you would think they might know...  It's quite specific about what marque it is, and it's not Moretti, although Moretti is part of the name as clearly it's based on the Moretti Cap d'Alger.  the name I'm looking for is often to be found on other cars which they have modified..  You'll know them well of course!

Do you mean Fiat?  If this is the name I'm sure it is absolutely wrong;  I found a site where this car colour is told to be "blue cisitalia"....I don't know if such a colour had ever existed, but of course Cisitalia has no connection with this car.  Please unlock, perhaps someone else could know something more.
Well, I found the announce with the picture you used for the puzzle: they call this  car an Abarth Moretti.  I never heard about a Moretti 750 tuned by Abarth...but I'm pretty sure that in 1953 no Moretti was Abarth badged.

Ah, you've found it.
I'm investigating the veracity of that story.
It might be rubbish or maybe just one or two cars were modified by Abarth and sold as Abarths and a survivor has come to light?
It would be nice to get it right, but I won't caption it as an Abarth until we're sure.
You'll get your point of course but let's see what we can dig up about this car.  PJ?!
