Circa 1987 Fairthorpe Pathfinder, a re-launched Fairthorpe using a Rover V8 styled loosely on the Electron Minor. Around 30 were built

You've got the right car, but although it was a re-born Fairthorpe it was made by someone else.  Who?

It might well have been one of his multitude of companies, but not Technical Exponents!
