I understand it was a real car but only this one prototype was built, though I haven't been able to find any other pictures of it.

Looks like something Kaiser-Frazer would have dreamed up in about 1953-1956.  :o Or maybe Willys? Mind you, probably not really their style...

This is known as Ford Soldano, is was finish in 1957 after 5 years in the body shop. It was made by Antonio Soldano in San Francisco.
The inspiration came from a drawing of "Popular Mechanics" from a Ford - Mercury prototype.
It have a ford engine of 100 hp

..because this is of course right.

Looking at my files I find I have additional information, but whether it's right or not I don't know..

I have an actual builder,  base and also an Italian involvement!
If my information is not right then the puzzle is solved but if it is right then I still need more information.

The best thing to do is to give exekiel a point for the correct ID (which I've done) then move it to the Pro's to see if anything can be added to it (which I've also done now and opened it to all Pro's)
