Ford Cortina de Tomaso 105 ?
Yes, that is indeed what I understand its full name to be.
Only one car was badged in this way, and it ended up in Spain, competing in the Barcelona 6 Hours race in May 1967, when it finished in 11th place.
I've read that the engine was bored out to 1600 cc by De Tomaso to give Lotus Cortina performance and a 130 mph top speed, but its name would indicate otherwise as 105 was the horsepower produced by the standard Cortina 1500 GT engine. That indicates to me that all it has is the standard engine, so I wonder what it was that De Tomaso did apart from apply some badges, though it was claimed to have been offered with a choice of either Weber carburettors or Tecalemit fuel injection.. A Mk2 Cortina De Tomaso also appeared in 1967, but again it stretched to just the one example.
