Identify what this is, from when and who made it for one point.

I'll move this up already as it seems to be quite quiet in the rookie section.

Goodness, this took more time than I thought.

In 2012, I spent a couple of weeks searching various Norwegian Archives for photos of American vehicles in use 1930-1945 outside of the US which is my primary field of research just now.  I thought I remembered your photo, but the file got corrupted when I changed computers.

In any case, I have been rather obsessed with trying to follow the "story lines" of the 2 candidates for our upcoming Presidential election in November and could not remember where I found it.

After 3 hours, I finally found the correct place to look.

Your puzzle vehicle is from your Home Country of Norway and is a 1934 International Harvester Drosje (Taxi) with coachwork by Skabo jernbanevognfabrik for Osmond Motors.  I have not found yet more information on Osmond Motors, but the coachbuilder mainly built railroad waggons.  They also built a series of Drosje vehicles, many on the International chassis, from about 1934 to 1936 based on my photo files.

Thank you for the opportunity to make good use of my research.

Very good work. I had never thought that it would guessed (almost) correct by the first response. While that is said I'm also looking for one more thing: Skabo built taxis on two different types of International chassis which this being one of them. What was the chassis they used called? Locked for you.

Osmond Motors was the company that was responsible for the import of International to Norway at the time.

Thank You for the information about Osmond Motors and their connection to International Harvester.

Further research indicates they had built ca. 100 7 passenger taxis on International chassis from 1934-1938.
They were built on the "C" and "D" chassis.

My sources do not indicate the chassis/model that was used, but a bit of knowledge about I-H vehicles of the period would indicate to me that this particular taxi was built on the C1 chassis.

I hope that completes the answer.

Here is a period picture of one that is thought to have been the longest surviving car of the type. It was used by a family in Oslo as their daily transportation into the '50s.
