It's the Speedy Engineering Special built by Doug Serrurier with a Climax engine, then sold to Bruce Johnstone who fitted a Volvo engine.

Well found. I've seen it captioned as the Climax Special, and also a suggestion that it was called an LDS. It's a new car to me. The photo made me think it was racing on one of those Australian shale surfaced hill climbs.
