Robert Schwenke offered his self-built, four-seater small car which was powered by a DKW 500 cc engine to the Deutsches Museum in 1939. It was built in 1938-1939

Are you sure? He donated his 1905 FWD car to the Deutsches Museum, but a brand new car?

When I visit the Deutsches Museum again, I'll check this for you. At that time he was broke, living on monthly support from the RDA (the German Auto industry assocation) and he was trying to get some money out of the DM.
