What is this? Name of the car, name of the owner/driver, and the chassis/engine combination.

Called the Langsford, created by a Mr Longmore in Australia. A Mk 1 Ford Consul powered, I'm told' by a blown Zephyr engine and suitably cut about. Wonder what class it ran in ?  Hardly a production saloon......

Well solved - that's the car described in full. The chassis and body were reduced in width and the roofline lowered. Quite a complex job for a homebuilt car.

I suspect even the genial Aussies didn't allow the car in production racing.

I saw it on a TNF thread not so long ago and found it fascinating, if only because it sort of makes you wonder why ?
