« on: October 19, 2016, 07:54:32 AM »
Can't see all those old 'uns that Nicanary has posted without joining in so here's one I don't think we've seen before
make, date and type number for an easy point.
Opinionated but sometimes wrong

1899 Peugeot Type 19; the old Peugeot logo on the front made it easy.

Yes apart from the type number it was easy!
It is not a Type 19 so locked for you to see what you can find

1899 Peugeot 3CV Two-Seater Peugeot, Peugeot designated this the Type 26 – decades after it was built (like they went back and gave their early nameless models official names). It was new for 1899 and uses a rear-mounted flat-twin.

Yes Type 26 is correct so a point for you!
We normally use the "flat-twin" term to mean horizontally-opposed (or "boxer") and the Peugeot motor is a parallel twin with the cylinders horizontal. Here's a photo of the engine and another photo of the car in use!
