No

from AUS-NZ?

Sammio Spyder?

I have it as a Triumph Vitesse 2 litre Custom, with a Dutch registration..I am not convinced, but I'll try anyway.

I also thought it looked like a Sammio, but decided to reserve judgement - why they painted it in Aston Martin team colours and then applied Carrera Panamericana style Mobil decals and Mexican national colour stripes is very confusing.
Presumably a Sammio body on a 1969 Vitesse engine and running gear.

The way the bonnet opens is diffrent from any other Sammio I have seen..

Yes, it's based on a Triumph Vitesse according to the registration. I saw the car a few months ago and then they told me it was based on a TR5 and that the owner built the body himself....but I have some doubts if that's true. And I agree it looks pretty much a Sammio body. Next time I see the car I will ask again, for now we call it solved and a point goes to Hiawatha

When I was trying to solve this puzzle, I found a thread on another website concerning kit cars, which began in 2012 and was posted by a Dutchman called Jerome Wassenaar (his profile doesn't mention a town or city) who built a Sammio-based car with his father. He travelled to the UK to pick up the shell, which may have been to special order with the body intended for LHD. He used an F-Reg Vitesse convertible as the donor car (that's 1969) and he modified the body quite a bit to get the result he wanted.
The finished car has a different registration to the puzzle car, but also has the Mobil decals attached. I wonder whether he had anything to do with this puzzle car?

Different grille and wheels as well as the bonnet scoop..
I'd say it was a different car.
Incidentally 'F' registrations ran from 1st August 1967 to end July 1968, whilst I've got my anorak on!

Nicanary, can you PM me the link to the website where you found this pic ? Haven't seen it before. Wassenaar is a Dutch village, so may be it is Jerome from Wassenaar ? The reg from your photo gives exactly the same information as the reg from my puzzle car, could be the same car ? Or not ? :o
Here's another pic from the interior, quite nice
