The only related car company that I see is Tesla, as Atieva was founded by an ex-Tesla executive, but Tesla is not Chinese-fund as far as I know...

Itīs another company founded by Tesla guys with a Chinese investor (at this point I might as well give away the name ;D)

Edit : Indeed, the puzzle car was designed by Jeff Nield, now Creative Director at Faraday Future. It was displayed at Art Center College of Design Spring Graduation Show 2005. It was a concept for a Chevrolet : "GM sponsored project: Car for China - 'One Chevrolet for every need' - targeting the Chinese female youth."
