In spite of appearances, front engined, rear-wheel-drive

I'm pretty sure it's a repost of one of Arunas' puzzle. I think it's being restored by Amperi Garaaz.

One point to Paul Jaray for the correct answer.

AiAr combines the first two letters, of the first names of the builder's parents.

As this will be combined with the earlier puzzles, can we include AiAr in the title, along with Plasmobil?

The first posting of this car indicated it was "powered by a ZAZ-969 engine at the rear".  Unlikely, as shown by this picture (Possibly a translation error.  It does have rear wheel drive).  I have also included an image of two of these cars together.
