Solved: Wendax 1775 - Peugeot 5 CV Ville et Sport
« on: December 03, 2015, 03:00:07 AM »
Do you remember the Dodge Charger Mk3 or its Matchbox Superfast counterpart? Well, someone had that rear hinged roof idea before.

For one point, please respond and identify this car and its coachbuilder.

My contemporary source is from 1926, so you might be right with the year. And yes, it is a Peugeot.

I tried to find it in the whole issue but in the long article where this picture is featured there is not.
I suspect I'm looking in the wrong magazine!
Is it a December issue from a 1926 Europa Motor magazine?

I have it from a different source, don't know which magazine. But the reason for the lock is mainly that the solution is in your post.

Well, that probably would have been the coachbuilder's name, if it came from Germany. One last step to the solution.

It is the translation of those words then, like Ville et Sport?

There was also the concrete-bodied car.
