The only Henschels produced between 1925 and 1942 with a C in the middle were -apart from the 6 C 1 (6 C 2 and 6 C3)- the 4 C 1 (4 C 2) and the 5 C 1 (5 C 2 and 5 C 3).  Let's say the 4 C 2 ?

Two combinations in stock...

Not 4 C 2, but Henschel _ C 2  ;)

One more reason not to switch, I guess.

I downloaded it on to my home computer on Tuesday night; what a mistake!
I couldn't get on to the Internet after it had downloaded and what's more there was no way to re-establish the WiFi connection; no facility there at all for WiFi!  It was as though the clock had been turned back 15 years..
I ended up having to take it into my company software support and they are struggling to get it working again.  Apparently they've established that if you install Windows 10 with the Firewall switched on you lose all your Internet connections and it deletes all the WiFi facility..  So they are having to re-install Windows 8.1 then will ask me if I want them to do the Windows 10 installation, doing the necessary with the firewall.  I think I'm going to tell them to forget it and I'll stick to Windows 8.  Hopefully that computer will be usable again by this evening.

I can't believe I'm the only person to experience this problem; this is nothing short of a scandal from Microsoft and they need to sort it immediately.  Even informing people what could happen would help...  This needs publicity!

You guys may have saved my life, or at least my sanity.

Today, Today, was the day I was going to install Windows 10 on my primary PC, this one.

I had not read of any bad experiences on the Internet but then most posters there are very tech savvy which I am not at all.

Then I read this post first thing this morning my time.

Thank you so much!!!!!

Bill

A bit more info has come to light now regarding my efforts to upgrade to Windows 10.
It wasn't the Firewall per se that caused the problem, it was SonicWALL VPN Client Manager, which is the method by which my laptop connects to my PC on the Network at my office.

It's sorted in that the problems created by Windows 10 are over (as I'm back on to Windows 8.1), but now I can't connect to my office via SonicWALL... Curing one problem always creates another...!
