A BMW-based special, but not a Veritas

Based on the wheelhubs, a 328 special. Was it by ne of the regular coachbuilders or a homebased special. I believe quite a few were bodied by local racers, which makes it  ahum more difficult....

A privately built one-off racing car with some 328 bits in it.

Hufnagel & Dietzel's BMW
Yes, built by Georg Hufnagel and Arno Dietzel on a BMW 315/1 chassis, powered by a BMW 328 engine. Picture was taken in Halle in 1950.
