Assuming you mean that both the chassis and body were made in Germany, my first thought would be a: Wanderer W10/IV 2 door convertible by Gläser from about 1932.
-
Gläser is correct, but not a Wanderer. Locked for you.
-
I haven't been able to locate a picture, but I'll try an: Opel 1.8 liter 2 door convertible by Gläser from about 1932.
-
Not an Opel.
Unlocked and open to all again.

Rohr Type RA 2 door convertible by Gläser from about 1932.

According to my research, it is a 1931 Ford Model A by Gläser.

Correct!

Congrats Bill, you got that one on me. I would never have thought it was a Model A with that short cowl and no apparent fuel filler.

Thanks Spence:
A little bit of earlier work a little bit of luck.
You are aware of my secondary research interest these last few years, US brand vehicles sold to, manufactured in or assembled in countries outside of the US. In this research, I became aware that Gläser built bodies on most GM and several other US brand chassis. They also favored that type of wheel cover. Anyway, I have assembled photo files of such overseas US vehicles by make, model year and coachbuilder and as it looked like a Gläser body to me, just clicked on that file name. There it was.
Keep up the good work.
Bill
