I had this photo on my files at one time, for use as a puzzle, but it's disappeared!

Looking at the car, it seems to be a Lola T140/142, but obviously it isn't. I am annoyed that I can't identify it  ;D

British?

1968 Alpine-Renault A350. It was an unauthorised attempt to build a car for F1 based on the V8 sports car engine, but never entered in any GP race.

That took me longer than I would have wanted.I feel ashamed with myself.

Be not shameful of you, you have the point and in more you give a little of history of the car for all our friends of Auto puzzle.
