was it built in a city with more than 100,000 inhabitants in the 1960s?

I don't have a year for it, and the city was smaller.

the question related to how many inhabitants lived there in the 1960s. I understand you know very little about the car
But it was built in a small city, right? So let's try to ID the city. Is the city renowned for any of its sights?

A small city, rather known for its surroundings than for the city itself.

There are forests in Germany everywhere.
The surrounding landscape is related to forests, but known for the absence of them, mainly. (I hope this will puzzle you a bit.)

Finally found it! It is a one-off built for an officer (British?) by the garage/shop
Stellmacherei Wagen & Karosseriebau H.Blenck
(Helmut Blenck) located in the town of Schneverdingen.
