A prototype Innocenti LDV based on the BMC ADO16?

Indeed. A point for you. This van was never produced, it remained at the prototype status.

I have to say I'm a bit miffed at this point going elsewhere - the original puzzle simply asked that this van be identified. Which I did. No additional information was requested. I tried to give some background details (albeit incorrectly :-[) as a courtesy. :)

Can the moderators look into this?

Thanks :)

Yes, in the original questions I always add 'based on what?' if it's appropriate and needed, but it wasn't there.

I think most puzzlers would have kept it locked for you once you'd got the Innocenti ID, until you got the right base, which seemed to be required even though not specifically requested, but it is the puzzle-poster's choice.

I think it would be fair to give you a point on this occasion.

Sorry Richard I didn't mean to be uncorrect with you...I though that "identify this van" may be considered as something more than the name of the maker, but actually the answer was not complete...so I give a point to you as well.
