Well chassis was built in the UK but without being complete the vin number can't give me any more info (needs the rest and the check digit).

The problem we have in the UK is that these cars are advertised to wedding parties as "vintage", and the people who hire them almost always believe that they are riding in an old car. I've told my daughter that if she hires one for a future nuptial, I will refuse to attend.

Quite so.  I loathe them.
I made sure my daughter's transport to her wedding was a 1926 Bullnose Morris - the REAL McCoy!  Did I enjoy the ride...  Best part of the day!
