LOTUS 18 CHASSIS, USED AS AN AUTOCROSS CAR , SOLD TO THE OWNER OF THE YARD WHERE THE PHOTO IS TAKEN , NOW RESTORED TO ITS FORMER GLORY AS AN 18 .

Thought you might be the person who solved this - I think the car was converted in Ireland. It was originally one of a batch of cars sold to the US, but how it got to being an Autocross special is lost in the mists of time.

The suspension arrangement looks very sophisticated for a backyard special and betrays its origins.

YES USED IN AUTOCROSS BY THE WHITE BROTHERS FROM THE NAUL CO DUBLIN
