From your generous hint I presume a German coachbuilder, but not from the territory that would later become the DDR.

Sorry Joao, sorry 4popoid - I promised a 24-hour lock to 4popoid. I am on painkillers right now, sorry, really sorry.

So back to you 4popoid

Sorry to hear about your need for pain killers Pal.  My wife is just getting over a pinched nerve, so I know a bit about the effects of pain killers.

I seldom question João's answers, but in this case, based on your previous answer, I don't think our mystery coachbuilder is located in Berlin (as was Kellner) unless you are not counting the Western occupation zone as DDR.

I am not having much luck locating German coachbuilers who worked on British chassis (outside of Rolls-Royce) in the inter-war period, probably for obvious reasons.  Somehow I think I see some French influence in this vehicle, so I will try a coachbuilder located a little closer to France.  1933 Vauxhall by Hebmüller?

Thanks for your kind words. Hopefully it'll be better today, I can now tilt my head a bit.

This coachbuilder is not Hebmüller. This company is better known for its post-war commercial vehicle bodies.

If your pain is originating in the neck and/or shoulder, you might want to check out a good chiropractor.  My wife, who had never seen a chiropractor previously, has had good results, and is now drug free after three to four weeks of treatments by a local chiropractor.

Another good hint regarding #776.  How about a: 1933 Vauxhall by Drögmöller?

Mainly truck bodies or rather bus coachwork?
