Registration information is the following:
Constructeur : Austral
Type : C série 1
Numero dans la série du type : 1074
Tricar 3 cv
1ere déclaration 1er mai 1929 Maurice Joellis Le Pecq

500 cc single cylinder engine

But as I understand the forum post, M. Le Pecq was not the builder, but the poster's grandfather who built it using parts of a motorcycle in the 1930s.

My pictures are named cherdo2, cher2 and photo3...I thought it was not enough for a corret id

I tried to look back for it and, following Wendax info, I found it back.
There is not a reference to a 'Jean-jacques Cherdo' in those pages (or in Wendax's reply)...I think the title should read "Maurice Joellis Le Pecq's" or am I missing something?

Mr Cherdo published the pictures saying his granddad built the car in the 1930s. I will ask him

I've already sent Otto a PM! My Diedt was a repost (the search forgot about hyphens) but at least the original puzzle has some nice images of the car which has saved me the bother......

I've un-merged this one and merged the Diedt Rochester puzzle with the original, which is no doubt what Otto intended to do but clicked on the wrong puzzle by mistake!

I think the 1929 registration belongs to the Austral motorbike which served as base for the threewheeler.

Le Pecq was the owner of a motorcycle, and the engine was used from the motorcycle.

Ok, I think I understand that. What I still can see is why, once Wendax posted that the car used an engine from Mr Le Pecq motorcycle, the puzzle was solved because the builder was Cherdo! But at least I can file those pictures under a correct name now.
