Thank you for the lock SACO. Unfortunately I know little about the automotive industry in Romania, and I haven't been able to find a great deal of historical information on the internet. Nevertheless, I'll give it one shot.
It has been established that the puzzle vehicle has a Steyr XII chassis with a Ford engine. I have discovered that Romanian driver Petre Cristea entered the 1934 and 1935 Monte Carlo Rallies, finishing 18th and 15th driving, in both races, a modified Ford V8. In 1936 Cristea, together with Ionel Zamfirescu, assembled a car from spare parts, using a Ford engine, with which he won the 1936 Monte Carlo Rally. I don't have pictures of any of these vehicles, so I don't know if they are related in any way to the puzzle car, or if the puzzle car is yet another creation by Cristea.
If either of the names mentioned above are not the one you are seeking for the puzzle car, please unlock and let the other AutoPuzzles have a go, as I do not know where else to search.
