I don't think that's a Consul screen (see picture below).
As an anorak fact TVR Granturas and the later Vixens/Tuscans had a Consul Mk 2 windscreen...

Yes, I was wrong about the screen - it's more like an F-series Vauxhall Victor.

This puzzle car isn't as pretty as the earlier Twin-Cam. I can't find any photographs, but is it the car they built in 1965 with a Vauxhall engine?

My source (a well known British Motor Magazine...) reports 1966, but that's the car!

Georgano (not always correct) claims the company went into liquidation in April 1966. That's where I got 1965 from.

Perfect, thank you. I was keen to see what rear lights were used and your photo answers the question; Ford Escort MK 1, which must have been added later as the Escort was launched in 1968 after this HRG was made. Thanks again.
