LONDON HAS THE PRIZE FREAK AUTOMOBILE
Motor-car experts of London have recently been given a shock from which they are slowly recovering. The cause of the disturbance was the appearance on the streets of the British metropolis of a car of the most freakish appearance. In shape it resembled a cross between a fish and a torpedo. It had three wheels, carried one passenger who sat in front of the driver, and was facetiously described by its maker as having been designed to meet all the various conditions London has experienced during the past summer. So far as is known it was not the contention of the builder of the car that it represented any particular type of construction or was designed to accomplish any other purpose than head the long list of freaks that have put in their appearance since the horseless vehicle became popular.
