You were quick enough this time! It was built on a 1931 Austin 7 chassis, powered by a Rudge Ulster engine.

That's what I call a lightweight bodywork !

I was just after a major war and attitudes to safety were a lot different back then. No safety belt, no helmet, no specialist clothing, no goggles. The organising club and national governing body were quite happy to allow this sort of thing.
