A current build by Hawker Racing UK , it's a kind of ugly Jaguar C type coupe prototype with gullwing doors ,apparently 3 max will be built......fortunately !     Hawker are taking orders for them

That's the car!
I doubt if they'll be cheap either...

I'm amazed this took so long. There are large adverts for these cars in major specialist magazines.

I'm also amazed that anyone would want one. There are lots of high-quality C-type recreations available.
I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia

If we had any Rookies I'm sure it would have been solved much more quickly!

On this subject I note that in 5 pages of Rookie puzzles there are just 2 guesses - both from the same Rookie.
Yet the oldest puzzle there has been in that section for four and a half months...
Time to review the use of the Rookies board perhaps.

I feel personally that the Editors may need to review the format of the way puzzles are offered. Unless we have an international advertising campaign, we cannot control the number of possible newcomers. At the moment we have only 15/20 regular contributors, unless I'm much mistaken. (Copyright Murray Walker). My own puzzles (and I appreciate that they are not difficult) are way too easy for the Pros, but I can't leave them in the Experts for ever - I don't seem to get much interest even when I provide clues.

It's very frustrating.
