That's the car, yes.
Apparently it was shown to Brezhnev when they were trying to get it produced as "The first Soviet Sports Car"
He was not at all impressed hence the plans were canned...

You're confused.
Paul Jaray is right -  yellow car is a Barracuda by  Valerij Tobias,
but white car is a 1980' ''Satana'', second car by Scherbinin brothers (Anatoly and Vladimir Scherbinin)!

You're right, I am confused.
But because the yellow car posted by PJ is identical to the white car of my puzzle, not at all like the other white (Scherberin) car you've posted a picture of?
The front is different and the side window treatment is also different.
Can you clarify please?

First car by Scherbinin brothers - GTSCH (ГТЩ)
Second car by Scherbinin brothers - Satana (Сатана)

The Scherbinin brothers has a matrix for the manufacture of body parts, anyone could come to them in the studio and make a car. People made a many replicas. In the USSR, there were about ten of these machines (include yellow Barrakuda)

OK, a bit clearer.
So PJ's ID was wrong and he shouldn't have the point.
You have (correctly) identified the car as Satana so I should correct the heading and give you the point instead?

I'm just merely pointed to the inaccuracy.
Sometimes it is very difficult to deal with the Russian cars (.. mainly because of the language)

I just want to get it right!  Accuracy is everything here..
The 'confusion' is understandable since the yellow car posted by PJ and my puzzle car are virtually identical (I knew they had made more than one of both the Barrakuda and Satana so the answer looked right to me..)

But if you say it's definitely a Satana not a Barrakuda then I'll change it all.
