Close but no cigar - yet!
But I'll lock it for you until your next reply since it is a Brazilian Chevrolet.

Opala Silver Star?

It's not an Opala Comodoro or Silver Star but another variant...
Still locked for you!

No, it is a word.
Think high-ranking person (like Comodoro, which I assume is Portuguese for Commodore as in Opel Commodore) but not in the armed forces; but again with that kind of link to the original German make.
Remains locked!

Well, then it has to be the Diplomata.

Indeed it does!
Well done.
I looked at lots of websites to find out this car's exact name and most of them called it a sub-model of the Chevrolet Opala.
The leaflet below however leaves out the 'Opala' bit.
Perhaps one of our Brazilian members can enlighten us?

This one was harder then I expected.
The different Opala models are very confusing, they all look alike. There is a similar leaflet for the Commodore, both cars looks almost identical.
Except that the front wheel of the Diplomata is slightly turned to the right.
When I finally discovered it was the Diplomata, I noticed that the bumpers are different as well :-)
