Is it a one-off based on an Austin Healey?

Not really a one-off, and nothing to do with Austin Healey.

Just a bump - this car has been on AP before, but not in this form. It could well be the most frequently featured individual car in AP history.

Aston Martin DB3 modified by Chapron ?

Yes SACO. As easy as that. I selected a photo showing the rear of the car to help, and also to make it more difficult. It's DB3/3 which was involved in a crash at the 1952 Monaco Grand Prix, and had the tail reshaped by Chapron. Later it was rebuilt with other bodies, like so many of the DB3 cars, and they have featured before on AP.
