Looks like a '49-50 Ford underneath the makeup. We'll keep digging ...

It's a '49 alright -- but it's a former convertible with a mahogany roof. Built like a boat and dubbed the "Yachtsman", it's the product of Frank and Eugene Marquardt from 1951. Ahoy.
