Actually, I can't be that much more specific. It is one of the 20 early production TVR chassis, built at Beverley Grove between 1953-55. It has a modified Microplas Mistral body. I wonder if it might be the oldest 'production' TVr, as the chassis number ends 001?

It is an early TVR with a Microplas Mistral body, yes.
There has been discussion about whether it's actually a TVR or not, with the TVRCC initially denying it was but now it's generally accepted as being one.
If you can tell me what powers this car now I'll award you your point and move it to Solved!

Said to be from a Herald 12/50.
