That's the car. I wonder why they called it a 'Spyder'? Did they know what that means?!
Since car names are more about image than meaning, "spyder" was just another exotic-sounding (and spelling) European name that implied "sporty" -- like "Monza", both terms used previously by GM.
Or "GTO" and its base-model sedan, the Pontiac LeMans. It's all about the image
