For one point: Who was that old man, and what did he call this car?

Only a correct, complete and specific answer will earn a point; tag-on's to other guesses will not. So, be specific and complete!

Is that Ezra Meeker? "Over the old Oregon Trail".
I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia

There appears to have been 2 cars built in this style for Meeker - my photo is the 1928 Ford which was called the Oxmobile. I think your photo is the 1916 Pathfinder, but I can't find a nickname for that car.

I've seen reference to "Schoonermobile" - is this what you're looking for?
