This car is called "Sammy" and was meant to be a character in "The Adventures of Sammy Siren" series

Are you sure the series is American ? I haven't found any evidence relating "Sammy" with the US:

- The base car is English
- "Sammy" is registered in UK
- It was for sale on eBay.co.uk and the ad was published by a seller based in UK
- "Sammy Siren adventure" book was written by an English author (Michael Alan Brigden) and published by an English company (Cargocycle Ltd)

That's right, and when I was going to set the puzzle I assumed it was English.
But I couldn't find any mention of it on UK TV, but I did come across something from the US and looked into it further.
I recall finding that the series was made by an American company and it was shown on American TV, so I changed all the details!  I've deleted everything now but will look into it and see if I can find the information again.
