What i got is that the engine is a 4 cylinder Ferrari fitted by Phil Barack maybe in 1962-63

It was the ex-John Coombs/Roy Salvadori car which was bought by Brian Naylor "sans" Maserati engine, into which he fitted a 3-litre Tasman 625 engine he had from Peter Whitehead days. It passed to George Pitt who sold it to Barak.

It raced in 1962 in minor meetings - I think this photo shows it at Rufforth. He entered it at the very last meeting to be held at Charterhall, hoping to have the sports car lap record "in perpertuity", but alas he was up against a young man named J.Y.Stewart.
