That's the car, yes.
I thought they only built one but you might be right.  Surprised about a glassfibre one though as that material was still very much in its infancy even in 1953, especially in Italy where I think it was slower to catch on than in the US and some other European countries.

It is in fact the 1955 Renault Ondine, a fiberglass-bodied convertible on Frégate chassis, following the lines of the 1953 Frégate Ondine convertible by Ghia which proved to be too expensive for the market. The 1955 car remained a prototype. I don't think that it was built by Ghia, but by Renault.

Thanks for that; it seems you're absolutely right.
The original 1953 car was by Ghia but 5 copies were made in 1955 in GRP.
I didn't keep a note of where I found the picture calling it the original Ghia car, but that is clearly wrong.
I'll change the title.
