Was it meant to employ all-wheel-drive?
Is this a prototype for the first-generation Audi 100 Coupe S, as the front wings/fenders seem to be pure Audi 100?
Is there something special about what the body shell is made from?

So it is an Audi project of the late sixties?
Was this an Audi project for a small entry model (pre- Audi 50) to replace the full rear-engined NSU range (Prinz, 1000C, TT, etc.)?
One of the designers might have been Mr. Dienst, Angerhöfer or Schulze (sorry for the listing) - just answer if it was one of them, by chance...
Helmut or Hartmut? Hartmut Warkuß started in 1969 at Audi NSU.
I can't find a bit of a possible storyline that could be hiding behind this picture. Could it be a project for the first non DKW-based Audi, dropped in favour of the 100?
Was the vehicle ever exhibited publicly?
I don't have access to the book, but perhaps somebody else does. Is the book Audi Design: Automobildesign von 1965 bis zur Gegenwart?
