I don't think it's Stirling Moss; it is more likely to be one of the many German BMW-based cars of the early fifties.

Apologize, but I need another few days as I temporarily haven't got access to my data.

Back when the drivers were fat and the tires were skinny.
Helmut Zimmer aboard the BMW engined G.v.B which stands for Geheimnis von Bobby after its maker Bobby Kohlrausch. One recorded finish, fourth at Dessau in May 1955

It is the G.v.B. by Bobby Kohlrausch, a Formula 3 car pictured at the Avus in 1953 and a repost: http://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/index.php?topic=16965

Oh sorry, I didn't see that's a repost.   But for me, this photo is a F2.  This project was led by Bobby Kohlrausch. This one modified the GvB of Formula 3 in a Formula 2.  You won the point Wendax.
