As a sidenote: his second name was Nikitin, Osipovich is a reference to his father's name :)

Thanks for the point SACO, and thank you for giving a point to PJ as well.  I was typing as fast as I could, but he clearly knew the answer had he been able to translate it.  Fortunately my reference was already in English, so my problem was not translation, but being a slow typist.
